I write about my own feelings also, but many times I just slip into a subject or happening as if it were me in the experience. I haven't felt I needed to give myself permission to become truly emotionally affected, maybe because I'm a Pisces, but I find it very easy to swim in another's skin with my imagination. I write that way in the third person, sometimes as an observer, sometimes as a partaker,
most often . . . as a dreamer!
Our muse is our own.
Cheers and many thanks,
JoanneJoanne Cucinellohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06294372713854294061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2725280419630188551.post-41647131613691562142009-10-08T16:47:06.969-04:002009-10-08T16:47:06.969-04:00I like that your poems are often about/inspired by...I like that your poems are often about/inspired by current events. I write a lot about myself because I guess it's easy to express emotions you already have through your own life... When you write about things outside your personal life, it's like sometimes you have to give yourself permission to become truly emotionally affected. For me, anyway. Do you ever feel that way?Adelaidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08208811770201032795noreply@blogger.com
